AWARDS
Best End-User Paper Awards
This
award began in 1990 and is given as a tribute to select electrocoaters
who have devoted much of their time and their company resources
to provide technical papers for the Electrocoat Conference. End
Users are the driving force behind technological advances in this
industry and deserve to be recognized.
The
Conference Steering Committee reviews all end user papers and chooses
up to three manuscripts that share electrocoating experiences with
others in the industry.
Best End-User Paper Award recipients receive
complimentary airfare and up to three nights hotel accommodations;
all award recipients receive a plaque during the awards presentation
at the conference.

Nominations
for the GEORGE E.F. BREWER AWARD
PURPOSE:
To
recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to
the field of electrocoating in the categories of:
I. Paint and
process technology (Technology)
II. Application of the technology (Application)
III. Market promotion of the technology (Promotion)
PRESENTATION:
Award winners will be notified in advance, with presentations made
at the biennial Electrocoat Conference sponsored by Products Finishing
Magazine and the Electrocoat Association.
ENTRY
CRITERIA:
- Candidates
should be recognized as individuals who have committed significant
portions of their careers to the field of electrocoating.
- The
candidate should have industry-wide recognition of their contribution.
- The
candidate's contribution should have recognizable economic or
technical value.
- The
candidate's contribution should exhibit patentability or publishability.
JUDGING:
- Nominations
will be judged by members of the Steering Committee of the Electrocoat
Conference.
- The
nominee's contribution will be evaluated against an established
set of criteria to determine winners.
- The
Publisher of Products Finishing Magazine will act as arbitrator
in the event of ties.
